  3. Now in a deep bottomed pot add water, salt, star anise, mushrooms, carrots, baby corns, soya sauce, broccoli, galanjal slices,bok choi, coriander leaves and boil for 5 minutes.
  4. Add chopped dry red chillies, then the sauteed shrimp mixture and boil for just another 3 minutes. Meanwhile soak the rice noodles in cold water for 15 minutes.
  5. Finally slowly slip in the soft noodles, give a nice stir, add black pepper powder, juice of kafir lime and serve hot the noodles soup
