- Miso (to taste)

Boil water with the dashi for approximately 20 mins and remove the bag.
(I was busy preparing the crab during this time so I only have a photo of the bag after it had been removed!)
- Prepare the crabs, sadly I didn’t take any photos of this process either so speak to your fishmonger or find a video tutorial.

- Add the prepared crabs into the pan (bag now removed) and continue to cook. The water will change colour as the crab meat mixes with the stock.



- After 10 mins add a generous amount of miso. Continue to cook for another 10 mins or so adding more miso to taste.


- Serve in bowls along with the crab.
