- 1 cup Sweet corn pearls
- 1 small finely chopped carrot
- 1.5 tsp Freshly ground organic turmeric powder
- 1 tsp Black pepper powder
- 2. 5 tsp Ghee
- 2 tsp Corn flour
- 2 tsp Milk powder
- 1/2 tsp Ginger powder
- 3 cups Water
- 1/2 tsp Sugar
- as per taste Salt

- First, heat ghee in a soup pan. Add corn pearls, chopped carrot and saute' till aromatic. Then add 1/2 cup water, salt, sugar, ginger powder, turmeric powder, and stir well.


- Cover and cook for 10 minutes on very slow flame till corn turns soft. Check in between if water has evaporated. Add 1/2 cup more and cook for further 5 minutes.
- Then add more water and boil. Prepare a paste of milk powder, corn flour and 2 tablespoons water. Add slowly to the boiling soup.



- Lastly, add black pepper, adjust salt and seasonings as per taste and finish with 1/2 tsp ghee on top. Serve steaming hot to relieve any cough, cold and congestion.
