Tried to give the traditional shape of wonton to the dumplings but couldn’t give the perfect shape so gave a few different shapes but taste is very good .

Ingredients and spices that need to be Make ready to make Veg Wonton Soup:

  1. 1/4 cup chopped veggies - carrot, onion, beans, capsicum (for filling)
  2. 100 grams paneer
  3. 2 green chilli,
  4. 1 small ginger piece
  5. Wonton
  6. 2 cups Maida
  7. 1 tsp salt
  8. as required Water for kneading
  9. Soup
  10. 10-12 small broccoli florets
  11. 1/4 cup chopped beans
  12. 1/4 cup carrot slice
  13. 1 medium onion
  14. 2 green chilli
  15. 1 tsp black pepper powder
  16. 2 litre vegetable stock
  17. 2 tbsp oil
  18. 1 tsp Sugar
  19. 1 tsp Vinegar
  20. 2 tsp Soya sauce
  21. 4-5 garlic cloves

Instructions to make Veg Wonton Soup

  1. Chopped veggies for wonton filling except broccoli and garlic.
  2. In pan add oil, add onion and sauté till turn pinkish, then add ginger + all chopped veggies + chilli and sauté for 4-5 minutes till veggies cooks well. Then add small small paneer pieces + salt + garam masala, mix well and sauté for 1-2 minutes, filling is ready.
  3. Mix maida + salt + water as required and knead a seminar soft dough, keep in rest for 30-40 minutes.
    Then knead again for 2 minutes and its ready to prepare wonton sheets.
  4. Pinch medium size balls from dough and Roll out a thin sheet and make square shape, place 1-2 tbsp of filling in middle of sheet and seal it by giving shape of wonton or any other preferred shape.
  5. Now cook for 5-6 minutes the wontons in boiling water, take out and keep aside.
  6. In a pan add oil, add garlic and sauté till golden brown, add onion and sauté till translucent, then add all veggies + chilli + little salt and sauté till veggies cooks well and soft, then add vegetable stock and mix well.
    Now add soya sauce + vinegar + pepper powder + sugar and boil for 5-6 minutes. Soup is ready.
  7. Add cooked wontons in soup before serving.
