- 1 packet noodles
- 1 tsp cornflor
- Oil for frying
- For soup:
- 2 tbsp oil
- 1 tbsp finely chopped garlic

- 2 spring onion finely chopped (white and green separate)
- 2 tbsp finely chopped cabbage

- 1/2 tsp black pepper powder
- 1 tbsp cornflour

Steps to make Manchow Soup
- Cook noodles according to instructions, drain them. Mix cornflour in it to coat noodles properly. Heat oil and deep fry them and drain excess oil properly with slotted spoon and keep it in a tissue lined plate.



- Now heat oil in wok or any pan and add ginger,garlic and sauté for a couple of seconds. Add onions and sauté for one minute.


- Further add chopped veggies except spring onion greens and sauté them on high flame while stirring continuously. Do not over cook, our veggies should be cooked and stay crunchy. Add salt and four cups of water and let it boil for 5-7 minutes.


- Add both sauces and vinegar.



- Make a slurry of cornflour by adding little water and add it into the boiling soup. Add pepper powder too.


- After boiling for couple of minutes more, soup becomes thick and we can see the glaze too. Add spring onion greens and turn off the heat.

- At the time of serving, add fried noodles. Serve hot.
