- 1 Tbsp Besan or Chickpea flour
- 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
- 1 cup water
- 2 Tbsp oil
- 1 whole red chilli
- 1 tsp mustard seeds
- 1 tsp cumin seeds
- 1/2 tsp Hing
- 1 sprig curry leaves
- 1/4 cup chopped onion
- 1/4 cup ginger chopped
- 3-4 green chilies chopped fine
- 1/4 cup tomato chopped fine
- As per taste Salt
- For garnish green chilies and coriander leaves
Steps to make Yoghurt Soup
- In a bowl add yogurt, Besan, and turmeric powder and whisk well so that there should be no lumps.
- In a pan heat oil and add whole red chili, let it splutter, add cumin seeds, mustard seeds and let it splutter.
- Add hing, stir. Add curry leaves, chopped onion, chopped ginger, chopped green chilies, and on low flame keep stirring for 1 min.
- Add the yogurt and stir on high flame to get a boil. Reduce the flame and add salt, and simmer for 10 mins until yogurt gets a thin consistency.
- Set aside and serve hot. Garnish with green chilies and coriander leaves. Enjoy
