    Add the tomatoes, peeled garlic cloves, water and stock to the soup maker. Then add the softened onion & Chilli mix.
    Put the soup maker on Smooth setting and allow it to do its thing.
  3. If you don't have a soup maker:
    Add these ingredients to the onion and chilli in the pan.
    Simmer for 20 minutes.
    Whizz with a hand Blender until smooth.
  4. Now add 5ml of Maple Syrup and 100g of chopped Spinach.
    You may wish to add extra salt according to personal preference.
    Stir, cover and allow the Spinach to wilt.
  5. Serve with a wholesome bread or use as a pasta sauce.
